UPDATE CPR ENVIRONMENTAL CONTAMINATION
(2007-05-18) May 18, 2007We had a hearing before the Alberta Court of Appeal on May 10, 2007, in which CPR was challenging the court decision to allow this lawsuit to go ahead as a class action. The Alberta Court of Appeal reserved its decision, and we expect to see their decision within two (2) to three (3) months.
We anticipate that the court will find in favor of the residence, and allow the class action to go forward. At which time we will convene an additional court hearing to deal with some procedural matters in going forward.
In the result we anticipate getting in the Discovery process over the summer and fall. During that process we are allowed to examine CPR’s records and employees to prove the case.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.
Yours truly,
Mark Freeman
