BSE Class Action

Canadian cattle producers filed a $7 Billion class action suit, launched in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec, citing its failure to ban dangerous use of ruminant products in cattlefeed until 1997. Australian feed producer Ridely Corp Ltd and its Canadian arm Ridley Inc, and Winnipeg-based FeedRite Inc are also named in the action.
